Responsibilities

• Comprehend financial business specification and can write test scenarios with input from the business and/or subject matter experts
• Create estimates for a team of test engineers with aid of QA manager
• Manage relationships with IT and business stakeholders
• Engage proactively with QA Manager regarding project statuses, resourcing, and risks
• Apart from responsibilities as a QA, will also build automation framework, develop test scripts, incorporate automation test into continuous integration process and get involved in code coverage analysis

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) and like to avoid ambiguity in communication with business and in identification of test scenarios
• Strong experience of testing complex systems and business flows
• Experience with securities settlement processes
• Experience with requirement analysis, test data identification & creation and test execution
• Experience with HP Quality Center
• Hands on experience in an automation tool (e.g. Selenium)
• Experience with Unix command line and scripting
• Understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
• Working experience with Scrum/Agile Methodologies
• Experience with Selenium
• Be able to create automation test cases across unit testing, functional testing and acceptance testing layers
• Be able to do continuous build, integration & deployment of code using Software Configuration Management tools
• Be able to write simple to medium complex programs (Core Java)
• Possess strong database querying skills and skills in any scripting language
