We are constantly evolving the way we develop relationships with our customers, but it always starts with understanding their business. The Business Development Director must have a strong background in sales of technology services to the Financial Services & Insurance (FS&I) industries. They will understand the nuances associated with the latest platforms, architectures, and digital technologies along with how they align with EPAM’s capabilities to deliver strategic solutions to our clients. The role & appointment will focus on driving cross-platform sales from prospecting through bid closing; developing new relationships and driving continued growth of EPAM’s solutions.


  • Delivery – Sales Output and Leadership:
    • Demonstrable track record of identifying and closing new business with Financial Services & Insurance (FS&I) companies to sell end-to-end solutions
    • Successfully sell leading technology solutions and services via a solution-selling or consultative-selling approach
    • Excellent network in and knowledge of the Financial Services & Insurance industries across the Netherlands. German & Swiss market knowledge a plus
    • Able to develop deep knowledge and expertise around EPAM’s solutions and go to market strategies
    • Able to successfully position EPAM and its services to C-level executives, building their confidence in EPAM solutions and our ability to deliver
    • Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication, with seasoned presentation skills
  • Consultative – Expert Collaborator and Advisor:
    • Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to potential clients at a practical level
    • Ability to play a true advisory role, guiding customers and discussing optimal digital, service and technology strategy to solve their business challenges
    • Collaborate with key EPAM partners to effectively position EPAM services and drive an increased number of opportunities from the channel
