The Lead Communications Specialist will drive India wide internal communication & engagement activities. From strategic and tactical execution of communication initiatives with a focus on building engineering communities, to driving employee advocacy - the specialist will partner closely with EPAM India engineers. The role will also involve growing and building a tribe of brand champions who will drive the EVP message both internally and outside of EPAM.
Responsibilities
- Drive EPAM India’s brand engagement through a dedicated engineers’ networking community
- Strategize, plan, and execute campaigns that drive participation in networking communities and promote EPAM’s brand influence, both within EPAM and outside
- Develop and engage a team of brand champions / influencers within EPAM India, who will assist us in building a robust brand value in the engineering and IT community
- Drive, track, and measure content development programs in the form of blogs, whitepapers, podcasts, video learning modules etc
- Organize and plan events (virtual and physical) to drive higher engagement rates within the communities
- Launch and execute dedicated social media campaigns that narrate stories from the communities, and further help us to strengthen EPAM’s brand influence
- Create and manage effective measurement tools to test the success of the campaign launched, and drive improvements
- Plan and track budgets for community campaigns, with quarterly reporting on the ROI of the initiatives executed
- Track, update and develop new content for the EPAM India website pages, to keep it current and impactful
- Assist the team in leading a culture transformation project within EPAM India, and develop campaigns to drive transformation interventions
- Assist the team in ideation and strategy building for building a robust digital media presence for the brand
Requirements
- Qualifications / Work Experience:
- Degree or post graduate degree in journalism, communications, or a relevant field
- 7 – 9 years’ experience in employer branding, internal communications team, marketing communications, or a relevant role
- Effective copywriting and editing skills
- Relevant social media marketing expertise
- Basic design skills – Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, or any related designing software
- Knowledge / Skills:
- Ability to build a strategic communications plan and implement it in a dynamic environment
