What You’ll Do

  • Cloud Practice / Client Leadership:
    • Serve as an expert consultant leading Cloud initiative and producing relevant deliverables
    • Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects clients’ business and initiatives
    • Engage with customer business stakeholders to discover Cloud opportunities and pain points
    • Lead and challenge team members and customers to create great strategies and solutions
    • Map customer vision & requirements to specific products and components
    • Act as a change agent and work to remove business, technical and political roadblocks
    • Mentor and coach clients and team members to enhance their ability to deliver on the agreed Cloud strategy
    • Ensure the strategy is actionable and well documented for a clean handover to implementation
    • Align with EPAM Account Managers and Senior Leadership to co-develop / support account plans and strategies for delivery, growth, and client satisfaction
    • Serve as the Cloud engagement lead, working directly with client product, marketing, and/or IT teams to position the engagement and EPAM for success
    • Understand the intersection between technology, customers, and business
  • Cloud Solution Delivery:
    • Drive AWS, Azure and GCP solutions design, build and migration opportunities
    • Scope and price engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase
    • Lead clients through the technical and organisational challenges of Cloud transformation day-to-day
    • Understand the full end-end product cycle, from product vision/strategy, user experience design through development and release. Working closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
    • Lead practice development, creating and orchestrating transformation and product solutions, teams, strategic roadmaps, and continuous improvement/optimization programs
    • Drive Cloud transformation strategy projects, assessments, solution design and MVP projects hands on
  • Relationship Management:
    • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolio
    • Develop effective relationships with key internal executives, BU heads, Account Managers, Solution SME’s, Sales and Delivery Leaders
  • Drive Growth:
    • Drive Cloud revenue within the client / account portfolio by identifying opportunities and influence / sell-in EPAM services
    • Work with Sales and Account Management team proactively to develop Cloud aligned account development plans
    • Align with EPAM BU’s goals and objectives, support company financial goals by achieving Cloud revenue targets
    • Support sales / pre-sales activities by assessing Cloud opportunities, responding to RFP’s, creating proposals and presentations, establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, and helping to close / sign new deals
  • Your performance scorecard will include:
    • Impact on Client Value and Business Growth – achieve target revenue goals
    • Impact on Operating the Business – achieve target billable utilization and account margin
    • Impact on Our People and Team(s) - contribute to EPAM and Data Practice people initiatives

What You Have

  • More than 8-10 years of demonstrated success in developing and growing client relationships and leading teams delivering cloud solutions
  • Passionate and knowledgeable in cloud-native development, transformation and migration offerings across key cloud platforms, Azure, AWS and GCP
  • Desire to learn & expand your comfort zone whenever a new technological trend in Cloud space arises
  • Strong problem solver and creative thinker with gravitas
  • Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to your team
  • Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication, with seasoned presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Track record of leading teams
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements under high stress to successful completion
  • Sound business acumen; strategic skills; common sense
  • Effectively manages up and down
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Bachelors degree or higher
