DESCRIPTION


We are looking for a Lead IT Business Analyst for our Budapest office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of business analysts: plan and assign work tasks and be responsible for the results
  • Identify and manage stakeholders
  • Plan and facilitate communications with stakeholders
  • Plan and implement business analysis approach, processes, and activities to achieve project goals
  • Establish, maintain, and improve requirement management and/or software development processes through the whole project life cycle
  • Create and maintain detailed project artifacts, technical specifications, prototypes, diagrams, and processes
  • Visualize complex solutions, validate, and verify solution requirements using notations like UML/BPMN
  • Communicate with stakeholders daily, handle business questions and deliver business answers, translate technical findings for non-technical teams and vice versa
  • Produce high-quality customer-facing documentation
  • Plan, implement and measure the performance of business analysts' team
  • Implement project reporting on multiple levels for both internal and client stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other team members on regular basis
  • Collect and analyze software requirements and turn them into high quality requirement specifications
  • Provide mentoring within the team and actively participate in internal knowledge sharing forums, conduct training

Requirements

  • 8+ years of work experience as an IT Business Analyst in software development projects
  • Experience in organizing business analysis at the outset of a project
  • Experience in gathering and formalization/regulation of requirements
  • Experience in modeling and analysis of business processes as well as in creating system prototypes and user interfaces
  • Significant experience with Agile methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of different software development methodologies (RUP, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Expected to be self-managing, take full responsibility for a subsystem or a whole project
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced level of English
  • Creative approach to problem-solving
  • Analytical and critical thinking
