Senior / Director Cloud Delivery Manager Zurich, Switzerland

Responsibilities

• 5 years of IT experience in IT and at least 2+ years of proven track record in the field of:
  • management in Cloud or DevOps projects, or
  • leading and managing team(s) of system engineers, or
  • running implementation of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline, or
  • managing Security projects
• Technical background in related technologies: Cloud or DevOps, Security or ideally Cloud native
• Excellent project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management & risk management
• Solid leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall processes and solid knowledge of software development lifecycle. Cloud native based development
• Be able to dig into any issue within the delivery organization and provide the necessary leadership to the team to find the optimal solution (architecture, project management, business analysis, agile coaching, quality assurance, etc.)
• Ability to lead Cross functional/Cloud native DevOps or Security teams across locations and stakeholders through organization, collaboration, and charisma
• Sense of urgency and ability to quickly make appropriate operational decisions
• Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written, EN- B2

Requirements

• You will proactively suggest technologies, tools, and best practices to make that technology and cultural change happen for EPAM and our customers
• As a Delivery Manager (DM) in Cloud at EPAM you will drive that transition for cloud migrations, cloud native development, managed services, and the Full Cloud Enablement Lifecycle
• DM is responsible for setting up the project from the ground up, as well as advocating best engineering practices and tools for effective use
• As an advocate of DevSecOps you will help to improve operational efficiency
• DMs monitor performance metrics and engage with managers and customers to ensure agreements are met, and deliverables are completed
• Responsible for staffing/resourcing for successful project delivery, proactively supervising technical delivery teams
• Contributes to presales to win new projects: estimations, operating model reviews, technical consultancy, and documentation
• Inspire and motivate the team to streamline and get everyone moving in the same direction towards delivery excellence
• Initiate, lead and participate continuous improvement process based on delivery data/services metrics
• Provide process guidance and mentoring to tech/dev operations team members
