Responsibilities

  • Being part of an Agile development team
  • Contributing to the success of our customer projects
  • Development of product functionality, technical analysis, effort estimation
  • Design and implementation of new business requirements
  • Working in close cooperation with customer's representatives
  • Leveraging your deep understanding of Python

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Solid background in object-oriented programming and design
  • Experience in Python 2.x and 3.x
  • Experience in python web frameworks like Flask/Django
  • 3+ years of experience in a well-structured development team
  • 3+ years of Python development experience
  • Strong Python coding skills with an understanding of performance issues, code readability, and maintainability
  • In depth knowledge of SQL preferably with Oracle, SQL Server and/or MySQL
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members
  • Highly skilled with AWS services is a plus
  • •Previous experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes are an advantage
  • Previous experience with REST API development and integration
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Good knowledge and understanding of algorithms and design patterns
  • Must be able to lead the technical solution
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • This position requires working onsite in Ensenada

  • A sign-on bonus equivalent to 30 days of salary will be granted after the first month of employment to all Python hires (A3 - Senior Level or L4 - Lead Level) who initiate their hiring process during the month of April 2023. This bonus will be paid after the employee has completed one month as an EPAMer. If either party terminates the employment contract before 18 months of employment are completed, the total amount of the bonus shall be reimbursed. Completed months of employment will not include days where there is unauthorized absence or absence due to leave without pay/suspension of the employment contract, absence of work without cause and any exceptional leave benefit provided by the employer
