We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with Azure expertise to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud providers, debugging cloud-deployed applications, configuring cloud metrics, Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, and programming. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment
- Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure using Azure, GCP, or AWS
- Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-deployed applications
- Work on debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud-based services and applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, and share knowledge within the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and meet project deadlines
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and experience with cloud providers such as Azure, GCP, or AWS
- Skilled in debugging for cloud-deployed applications and configuring cloud metrics for app uptime checks
- Basic experience in Linux administration, including log debugging and file system maintenance
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Ability to comprehend and analyze the source code of applications and understand their business logic
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft IOT Edge Hub
- Knowledge of MQTT brokers and their functions
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and in-memory databases
- Strong programming skills with expertise in Go language, Python, and knowledge of CI/CD processes
- Experience with Ansible, and Terraform
